Intuitive Eating Counseling
Looking to break free from the diet mentality and improve your relationship with food in a sustainable way? It can be exhausting following diet after diet and feeling like you “failed.” The truth is that the diet set you up to fail from the beginning. Courage to Nourish offers intuitive eating counseling services. We support our clients in a deeper exploration of their relationship with food and body and are with them every step of the way.
Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder is becoming more and more recognized, which we are so glad about because it means more people are getting the support they need! Several dietitians at Courage to Nourish specialize in ARFID nutrition. We work with clients of all ages with ARFID and support them through food exposures, fueling properly and food related anxiety.
Virtual community group
Eating disorders can be lonely and isolating and leave you feeling misunderstood. We offer a free, weekly support group to provide a safe space to be around other recovery-focused individuals who are learning to prioritize recovery and find meaning outside of their eating disorder.
Virtual loved one group
Supporting a loved one in their recovery can often leave you feeling exhausted and hopeless. We offer a monthly free support group to allow family and loved ones to discuss the ups and downs of being in a supportive, caregiving role, learning how to take care of yourself along the way, and find comfort that you are not alone.
Family Meal Planning
Families come to us with a wide range of nutrition concerns. We support families toward completing their nutrition goals including meal planning, preventing eating disorders, expanding food choices, improving relationships with food and more.
