Are you starting or growing a nutrition practice?
Welcome to my business coaching page!
I, with my co-founder Bobbi, started Courage to Nourish in January 2020. It was a dream come true. I always wanted to run my very own nutrition practice.
All I know is private practice.
I started working at a group nutrition practice straight out of my internship with the hope of one day owning my very own practice. I wasn’t unhappy at that practice. But I also wasn’t totally happy.
That practice as a whole was not Health at Every Size aligned. Because of this, I felt like my true, authentic values were not represented. I wanted the ability to support clients in eating disorder recovery in a way that felt true to me.
And I haven’t looked back.
Within a year, we hired 4 employees – 2 full time dietitians and 2 part time. I grew a network of likeminded dietitian entrepreneurs and realized my passion for talking business. I decided I wanted to support other dietitians in growing a practice of their dreams.
I believe every dietitian who wants to become an entrepreneur should feel secure, confident, and empowered when they take the steps to owning a business.
My skillset includes supporting dietitians with starting a practice, marketing their practice and their practice’s message, discussing nitty gritty business details, strategic planning to grow a business, and brainstorming how to streamline day to day tasks.
I understand the passion, courage and drive it takes to finally take those first steps into private practice work, to hire your first employee or to try out a new marketing strategy. Wherever you are in growing private practice, I am here to support you in taking the steps to grow.
